Because Every Life Matters

Have you noticed lately how self-centered the world has become? All about me, me, me. We fight for things when we want them and we fight for our rights.

Maybe that’s why it’s not that big of a surprise that the focus behind those who are pro-choice is the woman’s right to choose. It’s all about her. Her body. Her choice.

But the lie behind that?

It’s not actually her body. And in all actuality, it’s not her choice either.

If each one of us has the right to live however we want and we have the right to live life, than this choice is actually the unborn child’s choice. It is the unborn child’s life. Life begins at conception, so therefore this baby is a living human being who deserves the same rights as you and I.

Yet the world has created lies to cover up their selfishness. In order to continue living for themselves and being saturated in the “me culture,” they have created lies such as: “It’s only mass. It’s not a baby,” “It doesn’t feel pain,” “It is your body and you can do whatever you want.”

But those are lies.

The reason why I’m pro-life is simple.

Because every life matters.

If a baby came out of the womb and their heart was not beating, would the doctors and nurses not do everything in their power to get that life-holding organ to beat again? So why is it okay for them to stop the beating of a child’s heart in the womb? Even in the womb, that baby’s heart is beating. So what makes stopping that heart any different than stopping the heart of a child outside of the womb?

If you believe that your life matters, or your parent’s life matters, or your best friend’s life matters, then you must also believe that all life matters. For we are all humans and we are all created in the image of God, for Him and by Him. If every life matters, then the life of the unborn child should be held in just as high a regard as you think of your own life or the life of the one closest to you. And if we believe that life matters, then we must believe it is precious and deserves to be protected.

How do you protect life? Even the life of the unborn child?

There are so many ways you can be pro-life today. Spread the word about abortion. Tell others the facts, the problem, and how they can help be a part of the solution. Let others know that abortion is not a choice. Abortion is murdering a life that is very much living and can very much feel pain.

Educate yourself. Learn more about the facts so that you can defend pro-life and explain the horrors of abortion.

Get involved with organizations working to fight abortion and spreading the word about pro-life! Some great ones are: Save the Storks (www.savethestorks.com), National Right to Life (www.nrlc.org), Abort73 (www.abort73.com), and Rock for Life (www.rockforlife.org).

Support pregnant moms! Let them know they don’t have to face this alone. Throw baby showers for single moms-to-be, give them support, get them connected to help. Be there for them. By doing so, you could save a life.

We must not remain silent while a whole generation of children is dying in front of us. Let’s rise up and be their voice and defend them. Because life deserves to be defended and protected.

Because every life matters.

Three of our Favorite Modest Fashion Bloggers

Fashion in my opinion is a way to express yourself. It’s not all about vanity or getting attention from cute guys. It’s about showing people what you like and who you are! A woman’s clothing choices really say a lot about who she is! That’s why dressing modestly is so important.

If you dress like (Cough*) a slut then that’s who you are telling people you are. Now, I’m not saying it’s all about what people think or how they see you, but do you really want to be labeled as that? In today’s world the media tells girls that they need to dress a certain way to be “valued” and that is WRONG. The fashion choices some girls make today blows my mind! I understand that it is just the culture we are in, but that doesn’t make it right.

When I started to get really into fashion and beauty, (about freshmen year) I struggled to find clothes that didn’t show too much skin. And when I did find modest clothes, they either weren’t my style or just flat out made me look like I was a 9 year old girl. Why should I have to compromise my sense of style? Why can’t there be clothes that are modest and cute!? I would ask myself these things almost every day. Until… I found a few modest bloggers/Youtuber’s/awesome women of faith on the internet. So without further ado let me introduce you to these fine women.

Till the Day I Die (Where have I Been)

fighter-me
This is my first time writing anything in quiet some time. My absence has given me a lot of time to think. I look at all of you, Christ Centered Girls followers and now my friends. I see all your comments and likes. I see the position God has put me in, the gift he has given me. I have to be honest with you though, it isn’t easy. I went into this with a blind fold over my face and God telling me to jump into a new world I had never been in before. I have not gone to school for this, I have dyslexia and many other problems that prevent me from being able to write “well.” So as you can imagine the struggle has been REAL. With every magazine issue that came out all I could see were the mistakes. All I could see was FAIL.

This began to take a toll on myself and my relationship with my friends and family. I was ashamed of what God had given me and soon, I was ready to give up. I wanted to be selfish and have a life, I wanted to be 17 and not have to work so hard at this.

But then I looked at all of you. Every girl that messaged me and said how much I had helped them. Every tear that was shed while reading my articles. I saw all of it. I cried out to God asking “WHY??” Why did he want this for me?? Why did he give me a following that didn’t just look to Christ Centered Girls but also looked to me?? Why was I inspiring girls all over the world!? Why couldn’t he pick someone else to have this job?? I wish there was a part in this story that said I finally ended up figuring out why. But sadly there has still been no happy ending here.

The enemy had gotten into my head and my life. He had manipulated me, he had taken myself from me. I was no longer Kylie, the girl that would have given her life for Jesus. I was Kylie, the girl who wanted to do her own thing and make her own path. I let God down, but I also let myself down. I am still struggling, I am still fighting, and I will fight till the day I die. I will not let the enemy win, I will not let him take advantage of me. I will not let him break me. Because I am STRONG and he has no power over a child of God! Not unless I give it to him.
God tested me, and I passed. There will be many more tests in the future, but I can tell you right now that I will never give up on you guys, no matter how much pain I have to go through to continue. I am here for you and always will be. I will fight for you till the day I die.

Love you all,
Kylie
